In 2010, our dedicated volunteers provided the following services
to Monroe County Seniors:
2028 total hours
of volunteer services that included:
904 hours of relief to family caregivers, friendly visits, and telephone calls.
205 volunteer hours to training, office assistance, fundraising, and public relations.
739 hours of transportation to medical &
dental appointments, senior centers, and worship services. Also to shopping, errands, rides to social events and worship services.
181 hours of home repair, chores, yard work and light housekeeping.
Value of these services to Monroe County in 2010 was: $47,786
